After eight years of interrupted education due to the ongoing crisis in the North West and South West regions of Cameroon, pupils in Eshobi and Eyang Ntui have received a boost to facilitate their return to school. His Lordship, Robertson Tabenchong, Lord Mayor of Mamfe Council, has donated didactic materials to support the resumption of academic activities in these areas.
The donation ceremony took place on the 8th of September where Mayor Tabenchong handed over the didactic materials to the pupils. The event was attended by local authorities, teachers, and community leaders.
The donated materials include textbooks, notebooks, pens, pencils, and other essential learning tools. These resources will enable pupils to effectively engage in academic activities, bridging the gap created by the prolonged absence from school.

The Lord Mayor Robertson Tabenchong Ashu Donates Didactic materials, Benches etc. to Eshobi and Eyang-ntui Villages for effective school resumption. For seven years and counting schools have not been functional because of the crisis in the N.W/SW Regions of our country.
The Mayor also pledged to pay all part time teachers of the schools in order to ensure effective teaching and timely school resumption. meanwhile he will again follow-up with the local administration for teachers to be transferred to the above schools in order to enable them to impart knowledge to school going children.
The Mayor is calling on every parent in Eshobi and Eyang-ntui Villages as well as his entire municipality to send their children to school from today the 9th of September 2024, for 2024/2025 Academic Year and that the senior Divisional Officer for Manyu has ensured military security surveillance to enable a serene admostphe for effective school resumption in the Areas of his Command.
